Thomas C. Nilsson, M.D. has practiced at Midwest Allergy and Asthma Clinic, P.C. since 1980. A native of Nebraska, Dr. Nilsson received his Doctor of Medicine from UNMC, where he also completed Residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Nilsson completed a Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the National Jewish Hospital and Research Center (currently National Jewish Health) in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Nilsson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Nilsson treats patients ranging from preschool to adults of all ages. For several years, he has given presentations in The Management of Acute Allergic Reactions-Anaphylaxis and The Acute and Chronic Care of Asthma through the Family Practice Review Course at UNMC. As a physician who enjoys patient care, his goal is to help patients understand their allergic condition and partner in successful management of their allergies and asthma.
In his free time, you can find Dr. Nilsson keeping active outdoors whether it be running, hiking, or biking. He also enjoys reading a good mystery novel.
